How You’ll Make a Difference

As a member of the Maintenance Team, you’ll be the backbone of Lava Island’s upkeep and functionality, ensuring our facility is in top condition. Your responsibilities include:

• Inspect Equipment Regularly: Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections of trampoline and playground equipment.
• Perform General Maintenance: Complete handyman tasks like drywall repairs, painting, minor hardware fixes, plumbing, electrical, mechanical repair, etc.
• Coordinate with Tradespeople: Work with contractors for larger maintenance projects.
• Monitor & Address Maintenance Requests: Ensure requests are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Support Cleaning Crew: Assist with equipment upkeep and facility cleanliness as needed.
• Handle Property Management Duties: Oversee exterior trash, snow removal, pest control, and other lease requirements as needed.
• Be Ready for Repairs: Work primarily Monday through Friday (4 AM to 12 PM) with flexibility for additional repairs as needed.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• Availability to work early mornings, nights, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, access confined spaces under trampolines for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check and drug screening
