Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing company, who supply organic chemistry services to a global market. The company is looking for an electrical bias team leader.

Job Role:

As an electrical technician, you will be tasked with carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. You will manage a small team of engineers and distribute activities. This site is a highly regulated COMAH site, and the company provides fantastic benefits and has a development pathway to enhance personal and professional development.

Typical Duties will involve:

  • Conducting proactive and corrective electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
  • Implementing and upgrading electrical systems for industrial plants.
  • Performing mandatory regulatory checks.
  • Utilising Digital Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Applying and deciphering technical documents, schematics, and manuals to facilitate all tasks.
  • Adhering to the organization's safety protocols and work authorisation procedures.
  • Possessing a solid grasp of ATEX directives.

Desirable experience:

  • Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g., City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline as a minimum.
  • Ideally, you would have a recognised Electrical apprenticeship.
  • Ideally, you have the 18th edition electrical wiring regulations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full driving licence.
  • ATEX Directives knowledge.
