Your Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor based in Tilbury, Essex. The role will focus on implementing a proactive approach to maintenance and reliability at ADMs Tilbury Flour Mill. The colleague will be responsible for supervision, planning and scheduling for a team of 6 maintenance technicians. This is a ‘hands on’ position and after training etc. it is expected that the Maintenance Supervisor will be 75/25 hands on to administrative duties. Ideally this would increase to 80/20 after a 12-month period. The maintenance supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all available resources on planned outage days and to collate and report data that is used for compiling KPI’s etc. In addition, when the engineering manager is away, the maintenance supervisor will assume responsibility for the day to day running of the maintenance department. The normal shift pattern will be Monday – Friday covering 08:00 to 16:00, however there will be a commitment to being on the site call out Rota system, covering 24 hours when on call. The successful candidate will readily accept role-specific training to aid them in developing their ADM career.
