Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description
OSCO Industries, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. This individual will ensure that all maintenance and service functions at the facility are carried out properly, safely, and promptly to maintain production and quality.

Duties

1. Ensure all maintenance activities at the facility are appropriately carried out.
2. Interact with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems at the facility.
3. Inspect maintenance work for completeness and accuracy.
4. Allocate personnel and equipment as needed.
5. Train maintenance staff and evaluate their performance.
6. Comply with all OSHA and corporate safety rules and regulations.
7. Keep a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintain a cycle of the same.
8. Determine the need for repair and replacement parts to maintain equipment functionality.
9. Ensure all company, city, state, and federal rules, laws, and regulations are followed.
10. Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
12. Exhibit good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
13. Physical ability to perform maintenance work, including sitting, standing, walking, driving, climbing, bending/stooping, kneeling, crawling/crouching, lifting, carrying, etc.

Requirements

1. High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
2. Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree in engineering, or any similar discipline with about 2 – 3 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
3. Technical training in the areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, and other related fields. Formal training may be considered as a substitution for experience requirements.
4. Basic computer skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics will contribute to success in the maintenance supervisor position.
