Responsibilities:
Working alongside 10 other team members, the candidate will expect to:
- Work closely with the tenancy managers and block managers maintaining and inspecting buildings.
- Follow a diary and attend to maintenance works on the properties we manage using all trade skills at your disposal.
- Wear branded uniform and drive a branded van, using company equipment.
- Speak with clients from time to time to explain what may be happening.
- During inspections, find and diagnose problems and attend to fixes yourself and communicate all back to the team using our systems.
- Work with senior team members to design solutions to sometimes complex building problems.
- Become familiar with building layouts and plant.
- Give thought and care to the team’s needs and play your part in contributing to the operational development and growth of the company.
Future Opportunity:
Roles can be expanded and developed as experience is gained. We can also look at diversifying roles and dual roles depending on the company’s needs. A successful and competent technician can also act as a project manager; planning and designing refurbishments or take on wider responsibility and challenges in other parts of the company.
