Maintenance Shift Engineer

4 on 4 shift pattern

Salary: £45000

Location: Daventry

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned maintenance with a focus on proactive issue detection.
  2. Swiftly address breakdowns and conduct effective corrective maintenance.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair faults in various devices.
  4. Log work and parts in Maximo system.
  5. Showcase strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  6. Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions.
  7. Adhere to company health and safety regulations for a secure work environment.
Requirements:
  1. Completed time-served apprenticeship or equivalent training.
  2. Hold City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or higher in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  3. Prior experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated warehousing (preferred).
  4. Ability to obtain and maintain a full airside pass.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Effective workload planning and prioritization abilities, can work independently and in teams, and open to overtime.
  7. Desirable skills: 18th edition, ONC/HNC, multiskilled, PLC and diagnostics experience, training/coaching experience.
