Job description

Antac is a leading provider of high-quality Facility services to a diverse range of sectors, including the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Our support to MoD Housing contracts has seen a significant amount of growth over recent years, and this is continuing as we enter 2025! We have recently been awarded a brand new area across Aldershot to provide operational support in the preparation and maintenance of Service Family Accommodation throughout the area. Antac is committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and tailored solutions that meet the unique demands of each sector.

To support the expansion of our MoD Housing contract, we are looking for a highly organised Scheduler / Planner to join us on a full time permanent basis. You will be based within our growing office in Bulford, and will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and administrative support across the entire team.

You will be managing the diaries of a team of engineers with scheduling of maintenance work across the region. Through strong communication and organisation, you will be monitoring the reports and trackers to ensure that properties are ready for "move-in" by the agreed dates across the region.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Identify any new properties or changes/cancellations added to the tracker and manage each property through to "move-in" status.
  • Schedule all works in relation to the Void Move In Standard for direct staff and suppliers using "VoidsTracker".
  • Liaise with additional suppliers to organise specialist repairs.
  • Ensure the client has received all relevant required property certifications in advance of the property being handed over.
  • Manage workflow for CRM system for billing and ensuring all property documentation is captured and stored correctly.
  • Work in collaboration with the Commercial Team to ensure work is being progressed through CRM correctly and on time.
  • Raise Purchase Orders for suppliers carrying out works on the Home Counties Void Properties.
  • Attend and manage daily client calls with updates on the progression of works.
  • Build and maintain relationships with direct operatives, suppliers, and clients.
  • Support the Area Manager with progression of works.
  • Report monthly stats to the Aldershot Area Manager.
Experience Required:
  • Knowledge and experience in scheduling within the facilities/maintenance industry will be required for this role.
  • Ability to manage your own diary to ensure that all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy at all times.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will be liaising with customers, engineers, and senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Be highly self-motivated with a passion to succeed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Confident in using system-based work including strong Microsoft 365 package skills.
  • Able to identify opportunities for advancing the organisation's mission while maintaining an awareness of the business areas and associated risk.

You must be able to pass BPSS clearance to be able to work on this project.
