Job Title: Static Commercial Plumber

Location: Hinckley
Salary: £38,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday
No on call but overtime available.

About the Role:

Are you a skilled Commercial Plumber looking for an exciting and stable role? Join a team and play a crucial part in maintaining and improving plumbing systems within a high-profile static site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will ensure smooth and efficient water services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems, including pipework, drainage, and water supply systems.
  2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing faults quickly and effectively.
  3. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and emergency plumbing issues.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  5. Upgrade and install new plumbing systems when required, including pumps, valves, and water treatment units.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all plumbing works and repairs.
  7. Work closely with site management and clients to provide top-quality service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
  1. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent qualification).
  2. Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and repairs.
  3. Strong understanding of water systems, pipework, drainage, and pressurized systems.
  4. Knowledge of health and safety best practices.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Bonus Skills (Desirable but Not Essential):
  1. Experience working in a facilities management or commercial environment.
  2. Additional mechanical or HVAC-related qualifications.
  3. Familiarity with BMS systems.
