Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

An established and highly regarded Mechanical & Electrical Contractor is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

The Role:

1. Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of commercial and domestic settings, including:
2. Offices, Health Centres, Hotels, Schools, Care Homes & Student Accommodation
3. Fault-finding and rectifying leaks, toilets, showers, heating systems & drainage, boiler servicing, temperature control issues, heating, ventilation & water systems
4. Supporting major projects during the 12-24 month defect period
5. Conducting planned maintenance (e.g., annual checks on heating and hot/cold water systems)

What We're Looking For:

1. At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry (install or maintenance)
2. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (Domestic & Commercial)
3. NVQ in Heating & Ventilation
4. Gas Safe Qualification (Domestic minimum)
5. Valid CSCS Skilled Card
6. Full UK Driving License
7. Excellent customer service & communication skills
8. Ability to work independently, making proactive decisions
