Job description

Sleaford £60k - £65k Mon – Fri Days.

We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our client’s Ruskington site as they go through a period of significant investment in new machinery, change, and growth.

The successful candidate will support the Engineering Manager in driving the move from a ‘‘repair culture’ to an ‘improvement culture.”

You will be responsible for enhancing equipment performance and reliability by developing technical skills and knowledge of the wider engineering team.

The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of engineers across all functional areas to improve overall equipment performance and to further develop existing preventative/planned maintenance and process control systems.

The role is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore you will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met.

What we’re looking for:

  1. HNC level (or equivalent) & NEBOSH qualifications are desirable.
  2. Strong Management/Supervisory skills.
  3. Knowledge/understanding of legal requirements (e.g., Duty Holder, safe systems of work, permits to work, HSE).

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working within a manufacturing, food processing, or packaging environment; however, familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern: Days - mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work (flexibility is required).
