Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment are looking to hear from experienced Plant Maintenance Managers based in the Buckinghamshire area to join our client at an Energy from Waste facility in Milton Keynes. In a key leadership role for the company, you will ensure the efficient delivery of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, maintaining high plant availability, and ensuring all Health & Safety and environmental compliance standards are upheld.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager from the power, waste management, or production/manufacturing sectors to take the lead in a busy 24/7 process plant in a thriving and sustainable industry.

Role Duties
  1. Leading day-to-day maintenance operations across the facility
  2. Managing both P&L and lifecycle maintenance budgets
  3. Providing technical leadership and mentoring across the maintenance team
  4. Overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS - Piranha)
  5. Acting as the Confined Space Responsible Person on site
  6. Managing outages, including budgeting, planning, and execution
  7. Driving continuous improvement in plant reliability and maintenance processes
  8. Managing spare parts and inventory control
  9. Ensuring safe systems of work and high levels of HSE performance
Applicant Profile
  1. HNC/HND in Engineering or a similar technical qualification
  2. Experience managing maintenance in Energy from Waste or similar thermal process environments
  3. Alternatively, Maintenance Manager experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills
  5. Budget management and lifecycle planning experience
  6. Clear, analytical thinking and technical problem-solving ability
  7. Full UK driving licence
