Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer

Job Description

Salary: $100-120K DOE

Position: Seeking an experienced Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager

Experience: Need individuals with 7-10 plus years of maintenance management/supervision/engineering experience in manufacturing companies.

Essential Skills:

1. Lead a group of maintenance mechanics and electricians to ensure equipment is maintained for optimal use and keep downtime to a minimum.
2. Lead all capital improvement projects for the plant and manage them (Good project management skills).
3. Track all maintenance-related data, including OEE data.
4. Ensure the computerized maintenance management system is updated with proper data and used as a tool.
5. Be a key contributor in all continuous improvement activities.
6. Spec out any major projects or equipment installations for the plants.
7. Have the skill set to help out as necessary in emergency situations.
8. Be an integral part of the Plant Safety Programs and Processes.

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Education:

1. 7-10 years plus of progressive maintenance management experience.
2. Prefer a 4-year degree in a related field, but a 2-year technical degree with proper experience is sufficient.
3. Prefer someone who has been hands-on as a mechanic, electrician, or programmer previously.
4. Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Lean background is a plus!
