Job description

Due to expanding into the UK, this leading company in golf course maintenance requires a maintenance engineer to service and repair equipment used within a golf course, including machines for sharpening golf clubs and tractors.


The Role:
As the maintenance engineer, you will be maintaining and repairing equipment across 6 courses in the South of England, 5 of which are just outside of London. The majority of the repairs would be done onsite in Surrey, but there would be an occasional need to drive to each of the courses. Other duties include:

  1. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in golf course maintenance equipment.
  2. Perform regular servicing and sharpening of mowing equipment.
  3. Complete job cards for all works undertaken.
  4. Adhere to all relevant legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

The Candidate:
As the Maintenance Engineer, you will already need:

  1. Mechanical experience, with electro-hydraulic experience as an advantage.
  2. Previous experience in a mechanical role.
  3. A full driving licence.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  5. The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The Package:
The Maintenance Engineer will be rewarded with:

  1. Annual salary of £32,000 - £35,000
  2. Quarterly performance bonus
