A local food manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their team.
Purpose of Role - Maintenance Manager
Managing a small Maintenance Engineering Team
Create and maintain a planned, preventative maintenance programme (PPM)
React, diagnose and fix machinery
Fault find and diagnostics
Manage and negotiate supplier contracts
Deliver agreed plans and budgets, including established levels of servicing
Control all engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing
This position will be very hands-on; you will be expected to get involved with fixing and repairing machinery.
Candidate Requirements - Maintenance Manager The ideal candidate must come from the engineering industry as a Maintenance Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
Ideally hold an electrical qualification such as C&G, HNC, HND or similar
Experience gained in a manufacturing environment, ideally within Food or FMCG type business
Have a hands-on and proactive approach to engineering
