Are you a hands-on person looking for work in a beautiful outdoors setting which is commutable from Kirbymoorside, Whitby, and Redcar? Our client is seeking a maintenance manager to maintain the upkeep of a stunning historic estate in the Yorkshire Moors, supporting with day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and event setup.

As a maintenance manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. General site maintenance – fixing, painting, putting up shelves, and keeping the estate looking its best.
  2. Setting up events – moving tables, managing layouts, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  3. Groundskeeping – basic lawn care and keeping outdoor areas clean and tidy.
  4. Risk assessments and reporting – ensuring site safety and completing essential documentation.
  5. Liaising with management to support ongoing estate projects, including the completion of a brand-new barn.

We are seeking a practical hands-on person with experience in DIY who enjoys problem solving and DIY tasks. Alongside the hands-on work, you will also be asked to attend Zoom meetings to report on maintenance tasks, log tasks on internal systems, and keep up to date with risk assessment and health and safety documentation. This is a unique opportunity to utilise hands-on skills in a beautiful environment.

The role involves working day shifts 5 days through the week with availability needed over weekends.
