Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing specialist. This company manufactures aerospace products and has been at the forefront of their industry on an international level. This unique role offers a half day on Fridays.

ROLE:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the seamless operation of the entire site. Collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager, your role will focus on optimizing maintenance processes through a standardized rota. You'll provide vital support to various departments, ensuring the availability of all essential and critical spare parts to prevent downtime and maintain uninterrupted manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of experienced Maintenance Engineers to meet the site's maintenance requirements.
2. Ensure all machines are serviced according to the annual service calendar, with spares and critical parts logged.
3. Maintain and renew OEM service contracts as needed.
4. Build strong relationships with external suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable service for spares and repairs.
5. Continuously refine Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) checkpoints to minimize breakdowns and enhance machinery performance.
6. Oversee and address breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and health & safety tickets through the company portal, maximizing equipment uptime.
7. Track and report monthly maintenance KPIs.
8. Work with the Engineering Manager on projects such as new equipment installations, including site visits for scoping or training.
9. Coordinate contractors for building and facility maintenance.
10. Develop individual progression plans for team members, conducting regular monthly one-to-one reviews.
11. Uphold exemplary 5S housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
12. Provide technical support for mechanical and electrical installations and fault finding.
13. Plan and execute the onboarding or relocation of equipment, liaising with production to align with manufacturing needs.
14. Actively support cross-disciplinary training and flexibility within the team.
