Job description

Maintenance Manager

£65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Milton Keynes

MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for a state-of-the-art waste management and energy plant in Milton Keynes. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, maintaining high plant availability, and ensuring all Health & Safety and environmental compliance standards are upheld.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leading day-to-day maintenance operations across the facility
  2. Managing both P&L and lifecycle maintenance budgets
  3. Providing technical leadership and mentoring across the maintenance team
  4. Overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS - Piranha)
  5. Acting as the Confined Space Responsible Person on site
  6. Managing outages, including budgeting, planning, and execution
  7. Driving continuous improvement in plant reliability and maintenance processes
  8. Managing spare parts and inventory control
  9. Ensuring safe systems of work and high levels of HSE performance

Minimum Requirements:
  1. HNC/HND in Engineering or a similar technical qualification
  2. Experience managing maintenance in Energy from Waste or similar thermal process environments
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills
  4. Budget management and lifecycle planning experience
  5. Clear, analytical thinking and technical problem-solving ability
  6. Full UK driving licence

Package on Offer:
  1. Basic salary in the range of £65,000 - £75,000, depending on experience
