Job Description

Anderson Knight has an excellent opportunity with our client for a Maintenance Engineer.

The role is to provide support for the production lines and carry out asset care tasks to a high standard, ensuring that safety, quality, and output targets are achieved.

Duties

  1. Provide line support.
  2. Carry out reactive maintenance and corrective maintenance as required.
  3. Support changeovers in areas where engineering expertise is needed.
  4. Carry out asset care tasks on production equipment as directed.
  5. Drive continuous improvement through:
    1. Identify and implement line improvement projects.
    2. Support production improvement projects as required.
    3. Support site BRC compliance activities.

About You

  1. Time-served Engineer with a recognised trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  2. Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of equipment utilised in services, filling, packing, and palletisation.
  3. Computer literate.
  4. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
  5. Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPI’s.
  6. Working knowledge of best practice asset care principles.
  7. Strong fault-finding experience.
  8. Experience in performing changeovers and working within time-critical production.
  9. FMCG experience would be desirable.
