Job description

• To be the main Sodexo site contact for all Technical PPMs & Reactive Works
• To be the hands-on first point of contact engineer on site
• To escort and liaise with Sodexo contractors attending the site for any works
• Environmental, Health & Safety compliance in all activities

Main Assignments

• To be the main Technical contact and hands-on engineer for the site, including client liaison
• First line responder to any site M&E work orders
• Carry out minor adaptations to the environment, i.e., putting up shelves, notice boards, soap dispensers, etc.
• Minor touch-up decoration and refurbishment
• Minor plumbing works (unblock sinks, toilets and drains, repair leaks, fit new tap washers, replace ballcocks)
• Adjust doors, tighten hinges, change or fit locks and door closures
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvements on site
• Coordinating with external contractors and internal teams for repair and maintenance works
• Assist other service lines (front of house/ security/ cleaning/ catering) where required
• Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve
• Any other duties as required

Context and Main Issues

• Work as part of the M&E/Site team ensuring all PPM’s/ reactive works are completed in line with SLA’s & KPl’s
• Ensure all work orders are updated, closed out on the mobile tablet/ APP

Job Profile

• Experience of PPM and reactive works
• Ability to manage own workload as well as operating within a team
• Full clean Driving License required
• Physically fit as lifting may be involved & must be able to work in restricted and at height
• A good knowledge of health and safety
• Ability to handle tools correctly and safely
• Must be able to work some flexible hours to suit the needs of a busy site
• PASMA/IPAF trained
• Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ
