Maintenance Fitter

My client based just outside the centre of Worcester is looking to recruit a Maintenance Fitter which can be on a Temp to Perm or Permanent basis, depending on your availability to start the role.

The role will predominantly be Mon-Fri, day shift but there would be a requirement to cover other shifts during holiday and sickness cover.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Investigate equipment failures and correct in a timely manner.
2. Carry out pre-planned maintenance to reduce down-time.
3. Ensure H & S is maintained at all times.
4. Carry out modifications as required.
5. Any other relevant tasks deemed necessary by your supervisor.

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following:

1. Previous experience in a similar role with either Mechanical or Electrical bias.
2. Relevant NVQ qualifications or similar would be required.
3. Previous experience of Processing Plants and working with conveyor systems would be advantageous.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.

The salary on offer is up to £32,700 dependent on relevant and suitable experience.
