We have a vacancy for a Maintenance Fitter to join our client's team. This essential role ensures that the plant runs smoothly, and downtime is minimized. We are seeking a proactive, adaptable, and efficient Maintenance Fitter with a strong background in heavy plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and repair tasks on heavy plant equipment.
2. Ensure the smooth operation of motors, conveyors, and gearboxes.
3. Conduct MIG welding and fabrication tasks as required.
4. Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues promptly.
5. Work collaboratively within a small team to achieve operational efficiency.
6. Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
7. Follow health and safety protocols at all times.

Hours of Work:

1. Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm - will include weekend work once the right candidate has learnt the plant; meaning day off will be during the week.
2. Additional hours as required to meet business needs.

Compensation:

£15.00 - £17.00 - depending on experience
