An established industry player is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing both reactive and proactive maintenance services on operational equipment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. You will play a key role in enhancing operational effectiveness and driving continuous improvement initiatives. With a focus on safety and compliance, you will also liaise with external contractors and manage maintenance schedules. You will form part of our engineering team onsite contributing to the internal & external preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance work on our plant equipment. Our goal as a team is to continuously improve machine reliability, availability & capacity to manufacturing standards.
Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and this role is no different. You will liaise with the SHEQ team to resolve H&S, environmental, internal audits, GMP, COSHH and ISO quality issues. You’ll ensure all compliance checks are complete and correctly filed ensuring our site is operating in full compliance with UK regulations and Global manufacturing standards.
