Job description

Maintenance Engineer London needed for hands-on and leadership role (leadership experience NOT needed because they will teach you) in production/factory - must come from a process or manufacturing background needed for excellent run factory with a very happy workforce.

Lead Maintenance Engineer London will be 4 on 4 off 12-hour DAYS ONLY.

Lead Maintenance Engineer up to £55k plus pension, holidays, and other perks.

Lead Maintenance Engineer Duties:

1. Set the shift up
2. Lead engineers on shift
3. Ensure KPI's are met
4. Be able to take lead on decision making and problem solving
5. Report to Maintenance Manager
6. Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery across the whole site and process plant
7. Working on project-related work
8. Be multi-skilled electrical and mechanical 60/40 either way
9. Help to improve machinery and efficiency
10. Fault find on machinery and repair
11. Used to working with pumps, motors, etc.
12. Keep downtime to a minimum

Requirements for Lead Maintenance Engineer:

1. A formal engineering electrical or mechanical qualification to at least City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience.
2. Good working knowledge of automated systems/production machinery
3. From a manufacturing background
4. Mechanical and Electrical proven experience

Lead Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Wembley, Acton, Ealing, Park Royal, Southall, Greenford, Perivale, Alperton, Edgware, Stanmore, Ruislip, Northwood, Northolt, Pinner, Watford, Staines, Heathrow, Feltham, Hounslow, Slough, Twickenham, Hammersmith, Borehamwood, Notting Hill, Camden, Kensington and other areas of West London, North West London, London, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire.
