Maintenance Engineer - £50k+ - Monday to Friday

Maintenance Engineer Preston Lancashire area needed for hands-on role in production/ factory, for a state-of-the-art production facility that has an impeccable reputation and a very friendly culture and strong teamwork ethic.

Maintenance Engineer Preston will be Monday - Friday evening shift.

Maintenance Engineer up to 50k+ plus pension, holidays and other perks.

Maintenance Engineer duties;

• Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery across the whole site and process plant.
• Working on project-related work.
• Be skilled electrically or mechanically with proven experience.
• Qualified either electrically or mechanically.
• Attend breakdowns on machinery.
• Fault find on machinery and repair.
• Ideally have some experience working with pumps, motors, etc.
• Keep downtime to a minimum.
  
  

• A formal engineering electrical or mechanical qualification ideally to at least City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience.
• Mechanical and Electrical proven experience.
  
  

Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Preston, Manchester, Wigan, Southport, Blackburn, Eccleston, Kirkham, Ormskirk and other parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
