Maintenance Engineer Preston Lancashire area needed for hands-on role in production/factory, for a state-of-the-art production facility that has an impeccable reputation and a very friendly culture and strong teamwork ethic.

Maintenance Engineer Preston will be Monday - Friday evening shift.

Maintenance Engineer up to 50k+ plus pension, holidays, and other perks.

Maintenance Engineer duties:

1. Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery across the whole site and process plant.
2. Working on project-related work.
3. Be skilled electrically or mechanically with proven experience.
4. Qualified either electrically or mechanically.
5. Attend breakdowns on machinery.
6. Fault find on machinery and repair.
7. Ideally have some experience working with pumps, motors, etc.
8. Keep downtime to a minimum.

Requirements for Maintenance Engineer:

1. A formal engineering electrical or mechanical qualification ideally to at least City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience.
2. Mechanical and Electrical proven experience.

Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Preston, Manchester, Wigan, Southport, Blackburn, Eccleston, Kirkham, Ormskirk, and other parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
