About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will work closely with the Engineering Team within our Poultry division, providing general maintenance and breakdown support for production equipment, as well as carrying out daily electrical maintenance activities in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out daily electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
2. Ensure work is completed in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work.
3. Work within a fast-paced environment covering all electrical engineering maintenance activities.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled technician who is electrically biased, or an electrician with an understanding of electrical installations. We also welcome candidates who have recently completed their apprenticeship scheme within the electrical engineering discipline.

Key Skills

1. Experience and knowledge of electrical engineering.
2. Good understanding and knowledge of electrical installation.
3. Experience within the food industry, manufacturing, machinery, or automation preferred but not essential.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We currently have 2 x Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) roles available based at our UK Poultry site in West Bromwich. The working hours will either consist of 12-hour day and night shifts (4 days on, 4 days off) or rotating shifts (Monday - Friday).
