Your New Role
Working as a maintenance engineer you will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for providing engineering support to the production team. Whilst on shift, your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Essential: Time-served qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance engineering role.
Desirable: Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering.
Desirable: Experience within a production/ manufacturing environment, shift working hours, and mechanically biased.
Essential: Good written and verbal communication skills, good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems, good working knowledge of product transfer systems including elevators, drag-chain and auger feed systems, and experience in troubleshooting and fault-finding.
Desirable: Forklift licence.
Essential: Highly motivated, excellent organisational and time management skills, practical and logical approach to problem-solving with good attention to detail, ability to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to data and information, strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative, work on their own and as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills.
Essential: Flexible and adaptable, good attendance, timekeeping & disciplinary record, full driving licence and access to a car, and prepared to travel to various sites.
What You'll Get In Return
This role offers a comprehensive salary of £46150 for working x3 12-hour shifts per week on a 4-week rolling pattern. The regular working hours are 6-6 across days and nights with NO Sunday work. The salary is underpinned by a strong benefits package and considerable training and development opportunities.
