Are you a Maintenance Engineer with Electrical or Mechanical Skills? Do you have experience from heavy industrial backgrounds, FMCG, Water or Utilities, Ex Forces or similar looking for a maintenance role?

On offer is a permanent Maintenance Engineer role with a multibillion turnover FMCG manufacturing plant, providing excellent benefits, job security, and career progression to senior positions & management roles with numerous examples across the business.

The position includes planned and reactive maintenance plus fault diagnosis in a fast-paced environment. You will work as part of a team on a range of high spec automated machinery for consumer goods.

We are looking for applications from both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers who are happy to work a 4on 4off shift pattern and live in a commutable location to Preston.

The Role

1. Full-time permanent, shift-based position with a large multibillion turnover FMCG Manufacturer.
2. Fault diagnosis, planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical & automated machinery.
3. Input into continuous improvement of the plant.

The Person

1. Qualification (NVQ 3 / C&G level 3) or Apprentice trained Mechanical / Electrical Engineer.
2. Working experience in a maintenance engineer position, including fault diagnosis.
3. Any experience with PLC's is beneficial.
4. Willing to work shifts/nights (2 days - 2 nights, 4 off) with a UK driving licence.
