  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and building systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

How the role will make an impact:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain the operational efficiency of our facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring that all facilities and systems comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring processes are maintained and operated in a safe manner and escalate issues affecting safety within the given production & warehouse areas.
  • Provisioning of and adherence to dynamic risk assessments for non-standard operations and tasks.
  • Ensuring that work undertaken adheres to relevant quality standards and provides support in the implementation of quality improvement projects.
  • Operating of manufacturing processes and facilities to meet production programme requirements.
  • Supporting implementation of continuous improvement activities.
  • Providing motivation and support to apprentices to ensure development of a sustainable capability.
  • Identifying, raising and implementing solutions to safety, quality and production problems.
  • TPM's (Total Productive Maintenance) on all plant.
Key Skills:

  • Qualified in Electrical 19th Edition.
  • Proven experience of working in a maintenance and facilities management role.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
