Maintenance Engineer

Pertemps West Bromwich are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased to join our established client based in Wednesbury.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the company electrical systems and machinery.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

1. Carry out maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment and machinery
2. General maintenance tasks including diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
3. Ensure all health and safety guidelines are being adhered to
4. Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments
5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and update when necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Previous experience within a similar role is essential
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems is essential
3. Ability to interpret and read technical drawings
4. Excellent problem-solving skills
5. Good communication skills

Hours: 39 hours per week - to be discussed at interview stage

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience

This position is available for an immediate start after a successful interview. Temp to perm for the suitable candidate after a trial period.
