Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons?

If so, then please read on! (Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered)

The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Swindon

Pay: up to £45000 + Overtime = earnings of £46,000 and upwards

Hours: 37.5hrs Mon-Thurs 6am to 2:10pm with a short shift on a Friday, afternoons = Mon-Thurs 2:10pm-10pm and Fridays 2pm-7:15pm

Overtime rates: 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x Sunday

Holidays and benefits: 28 days plus 8 bank holidays, company pension, life insurance, private medical.

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that has sites across the world, we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  1. To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  2. Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  3. PPM's.

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following:
  1. Time served apprentice trained or above.
  2. Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
  3. An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications.

Commutable from: Swindon, Cirencester, Oxford and surrounding areas.
