Maintenance Engineer

Telford, Shropshire
FMCG Manufacturing Business

£46,200 per annum + Paid Overtime + Pension + Life Assurance (x2) + Healthcare.

3 on / 3 off - 8:00pm-8:00am (Permanent Nights)

This is a unique opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, progressive FMCG manufacturing business who have a long-standing presence in Telford.

Role Description:

  1. Provision of both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of high speed, industrial automated manufacturing machinery.
  2. Mechanical & Electrical fault finding and repair activities.
  3. Stripping down, servicing, repairing and installing new machinery when required.
  4. Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion.
  5. Working within a team of skilled maintenance engineers.
  6. Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering experience - mechanical or electrically biased.
  2. Formal Mechanical and / or Electrical Qualifications.
  3. Strong fault-finding capability.
  4. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or other industrial context.
  5. Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated maintenance engineering team.

This role will suit an engineer who is looking for a great daily challenge and who enjoys finding solutions to engineering problems across manufacturing machinery.
