Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our dynamic maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
  2. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems including control panels, sensors, motors, and drives.
  3. Support PLC fault-finding and control system troubleshooting.
  4. Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
  5. Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve reliability and performance.
  6. Maintain accurate records of work carried out and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.

Essential Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role.
  2. Strong electrical bias or demonstrable experience with PLC and control systems.
  3. Must hold a valid 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification.
  4. Good mechanical understanding and hands-on approach to engineering tasks.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Desirable:
  1. Experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment.
  2. Familiarity with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar PLC systems.
  3. Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering.
