Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our dynamic maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems including control panels, sensors, motors, and drives.
- Support PLC fault-finding and control system troubleshooting.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role.
- Strong electrical bias or demonstrable experience with PLC and control systems.
- Must hold a valid 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification.
- Good mechanical understanding and hands-on approach to engineering tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar PLC systems.
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering.
