Maintenance Engineer

Location: Solihull, Birmingham

Salary: £50,000 - £51,000 + OT

Shift: Three Shift – Mon – Fri (37 Hours A Week) (Mon – Thurs Night Shift)

We are recruiting for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (60:40 Either Bias) to join our highly established team of 9 engineers in Solihull. We have not had to recruit for engineers in over 12 years at this site; employee satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.

We turnover annually as a business in excess of £5 billion and have been specialists in what we do for over 80 years. As a business, we manufacture premium products for high-end companies and as a result have state-of-the-art technology and an exceptionally clean environment.

Experience Required
  • Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or above in a maintenance-related discipline is essential.
  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer (60:40 Either Bias), with the ability to fault find both electrically and mechanically is essential.
  • Experience with Siemens S7 systems would be beneficial; applicants with exposure to other PLC systems are also encouraged to apply.
