Holmesterne Foods is a leading food manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire. We supply a broad range of food products to our partner customers in retail, manufacturing, and food service, including the UK's leading supermarkets. Our manufacturing facilities are equipped with machinery and the latest manufacturing techniques to ensure high-quality products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Maintenance Engineer to cover our sites at Leeming Bar and Brompton-On-Swale. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair work, and electrical maintenance. They will also be involved in maintenance engineering tasks to ensure smooth operations of our cooking facility and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, and maintenance & repair
  2. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
  3. Electrical maintenance skills
  4. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  7. Good communication and teamwork skills
  8. Relevant technical certifications or qualifications
  9. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus

Working Hours

Monday-Friday on rotating shifts: 5:45am-2:15pm & 2:30pm-11pm. Some occasional weekend working may be required.
