As a maintenance engineer, you will be integral to the smooth running of the production facility. Your role will involve a mix of electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including fault-finding, equipment repair, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. You could work with a variety of machinery, from PLC systems to complex mechanical components like hydraulics and pneumatics. This company will heavily invest in you, training you to become a confident multiskilled maintenance engineer with opportunities for progression down the management route, or specialising into other engineering roles such as controls engineers.
To excel in this maintenance engineer role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be confident in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding. A Level 3 qualification in engineering (or equivalent) is required, along with hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
