Maintenance Engineer
Redditch (B97)
4 Days per week (42 hours)
Permanent
£49,000k salary

A Redditch based, industry leading manufacturer is looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to undertake planned and reactive maintenance within a heavy industrial environment.


It is essential that the successful Maintenance Engineer has:

  1. A time served apprenticeship or experience in a relevant technical discipline
  2. Electrically biased knowledge (ideally with Electrical qualifications)
  3. Proven Mechanical maintenance ability with Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience
  4. Ability to respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance
  5. Experience of heavy industry
  6. Knowledge of Machine control/mechanical workings

The role includes:

  1. Repairing and maintaining plant and equipment
  2. Working within all safety policies and procedures
  3. Ensuring plant and equipment is in a safe and acceptable condition
  4. Working in conjunction with production in order to minimise plant downtime
  5. Identifying spare part requirements for machine repair
  6. Completing relevant maintenance documents accurately and on time
