Maintenance Engineer
Hinckley, Leicestershire
£46,000 - £47,000
Double Days (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm)

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join our family-run business based in Hinckley. We are a well-established business in the local area manufacturing high-end consumer products.

We have made £3m worth of investments in brand new machinery including a brand new revamp to our workshop area. We are a small team of 3 engineers, with lots of long-standing employees amongst the maintenance team.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Reactive and planned maintenance on CNC Drilling machines, Automated Bandsaws, Presses, Shrink Wrappers, and Conveyors. Our process is a mix of manual and automated processes running mainly on Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley control systems.

The Successful Engineer:

  • Multi-skilled is essential for this role, must be roughly 60:40/70:30 Mechanical or Electrical bias.
  • CNC experience would be beneficial but not deal-breaking.
  • Ability to fault find and read both electrical and mechanical schematics is essential.
  • Level 3 qualification in maintenance as a minimum (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC/D).
