What You Will Do:

1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant and Equipment.
2. Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective corrective action is taken.
3. Quick and effective response to breakdowns, identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements.
4. Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and work with the operations department to minimise plant disruption.
5. Record and identify spare parts used and report to the Engineering Manager.
6. Ensure Maintenance and Engineering practices are audit compliant and follow good engineering standards and hygiene practice.

What You Will Bring:

1. Time served Multi-skilled Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
2. Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
3. Flexibility with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
4. Manufacturing experience.
5. IEE 17th or 18th Edition and PLC experience are desirable.
