My client is looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join a food manufacturing company in Harlow. You will need to work accurately and methodically; problem solve and communicate confidently. If you are hardworking, motivated and eager to learn, this job is ideal for you.

In this role as a maintenance engineer, you’ll be on an afternoon shift with a variety of key accountabilities. You will be supporting the running of the factory by resolving breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance as well as being responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance work. Whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole of the site. In addition, you’ll be required to drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance.

Experience and Qualification Required

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ3/ONC/HNC qualified.
  • Food industry experience is preferred but not a must. If none, you will need to be eager to learn.
  • 18th edition
  • Truly multi-skilled
