Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Engineer with a knack for problem-solving to contribute to the smooth operation of our FMCG production facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring our equipment and machinery perform optimally, reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.

Description

• Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment within the facility
• Identify potential mechanical issues and address them proactively
• Manage all aspects of the maintenance schedule, ensuring minimal production downtime
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing Department to optimise performance
• Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and strategies
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations
• Provide technical support and training to production staff when necessary

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

• A relevant qualification in Engineering
• Proven experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in chilled foods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience in working with diverse machinery and equipment
• Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
