Maintenance Engineer

Location: Inverclyde, Scotland

Salary: £38,000-£42,000

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Are you a hands-on, solutions-focused Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We're a proudly Scottish food company known for our top-quality products and commitment to innovation — and we're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to help keep our operations running smoothly.

The role:

You will be responsible for the monitoring and maintaining of on-site equipment. This will involve preventative maintenance, problem solving, reactive maintenance and looking at new equipment, project management and maintenance schedules for the buildings.

What we are looking for:

1. Significant experience in carrying out a similar role in a similar industry.
2. Degree, diploma or similar in an engineering discipline preferably mechanical or electrical.
3. A diverse skill base to allow maintenance of a broad scope of machinery.
4. Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
