Join Our Team as a Maintenance Engineer!

Our client, a leading player in the Manufacturing & Production sector, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their vibrant team on a permanent basis.

What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Performing welding and fabrication tasks.
2. Conducting general machine maintenance with a focus on pneumatics & hydraulics (knowledge in this area would be a plus!).
3. Maintaining and troubleshooting conveyors.
4. Engaging in mechanical and electrical fault finding (experience beneficial but not essential).
5. Working with motors and other machinery components (again, beneficial but not required).
6. Emphasising a 70/30 mechanical bias in your approach.

What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. A qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering.
2. Proficiency in computer literacy.
3. A flexible attitude and a strong commitment to your work.
4. An excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
5. Structured and well-organised working methods.
6. Analytical skills to observe work processes and identify areas for improvement.
7. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work overtime when necessary, especially during urgent breakdowns (this may include weekends).
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Comfort in working at heights and in confined spaces.
Compliance with the company's Health and Safety policies.
Experience with stacker truck driving and service booms is a plus!

What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and dedication, we provide:

1. Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
2. Pension Scheme: Employee - 3%, Employer - 5%.
3. Generous holiday entitlement: 26 days plus bank holidays.
