Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer/Site Manager

M4 Recruitment are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer/Site Manager to join a well-established family-run engineering business, based in Cirencester. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

   Contribute to the in-house design and development of conveyor systems. Work closely with the project team to create innovative and efficient solutions based on site experience and applying site knowledge to aid them with project planning.

2. Project Delivery:

   Assist in the successful delivery of conveyor system projects, from conception to completion. Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes. Installation of conveyor systems and equipment for projects will be the main responsibility, which the experience will be beneficial to this role. As the site manager for projects, you'll be responsible for managing the site team and communicating with the project managers and directors.

3. Maintenance:

   Undertake reactive breakdown and planned maintenance work on existing conveyor systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.

4. Warehouse/Factory:

   Day to day when not on site, support with various activities onsite will be required. This could include but is not limited to;

   • Fabrication
   • Assembly
   • Forklift operating
   • Loading Transport
   • Stock checking
   • Tools and Equipment management

   Reviewing upcoming projects and assisting with timescale planning. Organizing the team to produce equipment on time.

Requirements:

• Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, and AUTO CAD
• Strong organisational skills
• Great Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Proven experience as a Conveyor Engineer
• Strong Knowledge of conveyor system components and mechanics
• Ability to conduct reactive breakdown and planned maintenance efficiently
