About the Company - My client based in the Caerphilly area are currently looking for an electrically biased shift maintenance engineer to join their team on the night shift. This is an exciting time to join a growing company with excellent future plans.
About the Role - Acting as a standalone shift engineer in the factory. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment used in food production. Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Respond promptly and efficiently to any machinery breakdowns or technical problems that arise during production hours. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to accurately identify and resolve equipment malfunctions. Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement maintenance schedules that do not disrupt the production flow. Monitor and control equipment performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and adherence to safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and records. Work to food safety standards. Ensure that engineering contractors adhere to site rules, health & safety and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Qualifications - Salary of £48,000 including shift allowance. Full benefits to be discussed.
