Maintenance Engineer

A global manufacturing business based in Caerphilly County is looking to take on a maintenance engineer. This position is well suited for a multiskilled maintenance engineer who has experience working on CNC Machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a worldwide manufacturer that supplies its fabricated products to a variety of industries, primarily the automotive industry, where they have won a series of new contracts with household names.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance, including the scheduling of this activity.
• Carry out building and site maintenance for the site.
• Provide input into the specification of new manufacturing equipment to ensure that it is of robust design and will not pose any problems with regard to servicing and maintenance.
• Install production equipment, including electrical and pneumatic services as required.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement activities as required within all areas of the business.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Multiskilled background working within a fast-paced maintenance department.
• CNC experience is beneficial for this role.
• A previous time-served apprenticeship within a related industry.
