Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £54,000

Shift: Days and Nights

Location: Hallen, Bristol

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading heavy industrial manufacturer. The Maintenance Engineer can be either electrically or mechanically biased but must have strong electrical skills and hold an engineering qualification. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and repairing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. You'll play a vital role in maintaining machinery reliability, supporting production teams, and driving improvements in performance and efficiency.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  1. Have an electrical engineering qualification.
  2. Strong electrical skills, including fault-finding and repairs.
  3. Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments (preferred, but open to candidates from other sectors).
  4. A proactive approach to maintenance, with a focus on minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability.
  5. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
