Job description

Cure Talent are thrilled to partner with a leading global scientific organisation who are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing manufacturing site, supporting production, laboratories, and facilities with preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

Your role will be instrumental in maximising equipment uptime and supporting continuous improvements. Day to day, you will be responsible for performing repairs, calibrations, and maintenance to validated standards, while managing critical spare parts and materials. You will also actively contribute to site EHS programs, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and ethics.

A Day in the Life:

  1. Perform planned preventative maintenance and calibration of manufacturing, lab, and facility equipment.
  2. Diagnose and resolve breakdowns and faults on a variety of process and production machinery.
  3. Support improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability and plant uptime.
  4. Assist and oversee specialist contractors during routine and reactive maintenance.
  5. Collaborate with project teams for the commissioning and maintenance planning of new equipment.

To be Successful:

  1. Hold a post-secondary education, technical trade certificate, apprenticeship, or equivalent.
  2. Hands-on experience working in a technical, engineering, or maintenance environment.
  3. Familiarity with quality systems and calibration activities is advantageous.
  4. Strong communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  5. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and commitment to high-quality work.
