Purpose

We are looking for a fully qualified Electrician to join our busy field-based team on a full-time permanent basis! The successful individual will be carrying out works such as the installation of power & data runs between comms cabinets, front and back of house. You will also be responsible for carrying out minor installation, repairs, and maintenance works. We are looking for an individual with commercial experience ideally within the Hospitality & Retail Industry. This is a field-based role, and the right person should be happy to travel daily and at times stay away from home.

Typically calls will be scheduled between 08.30 and 17.30 although shift patterns may cover between the hours of 6:00 am and 21:00 pm (Customer dependent). *Overtime, Company Car & Fuel Card Provided*

What will you be doing?

  • Undertaking electrical and data installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • Work safely and effectively in line with our health & safety policies and procedures
  • Complete job sheets, sign-offs, and electrical certification upon completion of works
  • Carry out professional surveys and relay information back as accurately and effectively as possible
  • Effective communication with customers, work schedules, and line managers
  • Experience working within Hospitality and Retail environments (pubs, restaurants, motorway service, retail outlets, drive-thru services, etc.)
  • We are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to ‘get the job done’
  • It is essential that you have excellent communication skills to liaise with other contractors and the customer
  • It is imperative that you always remain professional and polite
  • Ability to think quickly, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Adhere to onsite Health & Safety regulations

  • Knowledge and experience of data cabling techniques such as CAT5e and CAT6 installation, termination, testing, cable pulling, routing, and containments
  • ECS Gold Card
  • 18th Edition AMD2 Qualified
  • PASMA
  • IPAF (desirable but not essential)
