Job description

MTrec's new career opportunity

Our clients are specialists in their market sector, they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician on a permanent basis to work a continental shift system.

If you are a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician and happy to work a continental shift system this role could be ideal for you.

The Job you'll do
  1. Ensuring that all planned maintenance work is completed on time, conforming to the standards.
  2. Conducting electrical fault finding and diagnoses of motors and drives.
  3. Undertaking root cause analysis.
  4. Assisting in the implementation of TPM.
  5. Always upholding safe working practices and contributing to the improvement.
  6. Interaction with SAP to access works orders.
  7. Prioritise work in compliance with the priority process, at the team leader's discretion.
  8. Accurate recording of times spent on tasks, and feedback into SAP / Shift report.
  9. Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems.
  10. Responding promptly to breakdowns.
  11. Take part in FAT and SAT testing.
  12. Understand 5'S methodology and ensure 5'S standards are met.
  13. Liaise with production on machine status and repairs.
  14. Refurbishment of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  15. Assisting with improvement projects.
  16. Installation of equipment and infrastructure.
About You
  1. HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
  3. 18th Edition - BS7671.
  4. CG2394 & CG 2395 Test and Inspection qualification desirable.
  5. Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.
  6. Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
